A team of researchers has achieved brain-to-brain transmission of information between humans.

In a technique known as electroencephalography recorded thoughts, a team of scientists managed to send messages from India to France, a distance of about 5,000 without performing surgery on the test subjects. The report's co-author, Alvaro Pascual-Leone, said: "We wanted to find out if one could communicate directly between two people by reading out the brain activity from one person and injecting brain activity into the second person, and do so across great physical distances by leveraging existing communication pathways. "One such pathway is, of course, the internet, so our question became 'Could we develop an experiment that would bypass the talking or typing part of internet and establish direct brain-to-brain communication between subjects located far away from each other in India and France?" Grandmother slaughters grandson, drinks his blood

A Minna Chief Magistrates’ Court on Thursday ordered the remand of a 55-year-old woman, Fatima Tsaraka for allegedly killing her grandson.  The accused, it was alleged abducted her grandson, took him to a nearby bush where she and two others slaughtered him, made a meal of his flesh and drank his blood. Tsaraka, arraigned alongside Amina Mohammed, 65, and Zhitsun Aliyu, 38, is facing a three-count charge of criminal conspiracy, culpable homicide and cannibalism. The accused were arraigned on Sept. 1, but the prosecutor requested an adjournment to enable police conclude investigation. At the resumed hearing of the case, the Magistrate, Mr Hamidu Bima, ordered the continued detention of the accused pending legal advice from the State Directorate of Public Prosecutions. Bima subsequently adjourned the case to Sept. 25. Earlier, the Prosecutor, Cpl. The Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo, was pulled over by the US police for wrongly switching lanes. He posted his frightening ordeal about 24 hours ago on  instagram : "That awkward moment when the police pull u over and start thinking of the best excuse to give them. 4.93 Million Gmail Passwords Leaked by Hackers

MOUNTAIN VIEW (CBS SF) — Nearly five million Google Gmail usernames and passwords have been posted to a Russian website, according to a number of published reports. Russian news outlets reported a database containing 4.93 million names and passwords were uploaded Tuesday to a Russian bitcoin forum, which has reportedly purged the passwords while the email addresses remained. The hack was  first reported by Russian website CNews . In a statement, Google ( GOOG ) said the list was likely phished from malware-infected computers and contained older, or outdated login information. Posts on the Russian-language forum asserted that more than 60 percent of the identities were still in use and could be accessed immediately, according to Russian media outlet  RIA Novosti . “The security of our users’ information is a top priority for us,” a Google representative said in a statement. “We have no evidence that our systems have been compromised, but whenever we become awa...
