When an Oklahoma sandwich shop (P.B. Jams) owner, Ashley Jiron, realized that someone had been digging through the dumpster, with some food removed, she left a touching message for the person rummaging for food in the trash. "You're a human being and worth more than a meal from a dumpster," Jiron wrote in the note that she left on the restaurant's front door and on the dumpster. "It hurt me that someone had to do that," the restaurateur told KFOR . She said she won't take down the sign until someone comes in and takes her up on her offer to come inside for a complimentary sandwich, veggies and water. "I think we've all been in that position where we've needed somebody's help," Jiron said. The shop ownwe has received a lot of praise for her kind gesture. You're awesome. Next time I'm in Oklahoma I know where I'm having lunch. Food is for everyone. Life doesn't have to be so hard for people.
